ERA Unveils National Invention Showcase with $20,000 Grand Prize

Trade Association, Media Company and Student Organization Band Together to Host
National Contest to Encourage and Celebrate Entrepreneurship in America.
WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) and Future Business
Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) announced a joint competition to find America's best young
inventors. This competition is open to FBLA-PBL's 250,000 members nationwide and will culminate in May
2006 with a final competition and awards ceremony in Washington, DC. The grand prize winner will walk
away with $20,000 in an event sponsored by Koeppel Direct, an ERA member and a leading direct response
media buying company. Contestants can obtain the submission form and receive more information online at

The deadline to enter this competition is March 15 and is exclusive to FBLA-PBL members. A panel of
judges will narrow the field down to 12 finalists who will travel with all expenses paid to Washington,
DC for the final competition and grand prize announcement. Aside from the $20,000 top award, three
runner-ups will also receive a $2,500 consolation prize.
